Normally I only watch shows on MTV when I'm really bored. When I first saw an episode of My Super Sweet 16, I must've been really bored because I normally don't watch shows like that. If you've never seen it, it's basically about a bunch of rich snobby girls (and sometimes boys) who think they're all that and a bag of chips because they can get a $300,000 car for their 16th birthday.
There was one girl that really got on my nerves. She had a celebrity stylist or something and kept complaining about every outfit he showed her. "OMGZ THIS OUTFIT AIN'T FLY! I have to look da bomb at my fly party and this shit ain't cute!!!11one" If you're going to be that picky about an outfit, just get someone to make a custom dress for you since you're so rich. Then she did the same to the hairstylist, whining and complaining that he didn't know what he was doing. Obviously he knew what he was doing, otherwise he wouldn't be a hairstylist.
Some of the other girls were just as bad as she was. If their party didn't go perfectly, and they didn't get the ridiculously expensive car that they wanted, they would throw a tantrum. There's no reason to complain when you're getting a car; I'd be lucky to get a cardboard box with wheels.
The prices of some of their parties were way more than anyone should be spending on one party. I don't remember exactly how much they cost, but I know they were at least $250,000 - a quarter of a million dollars. That's more than 8 times what my mom makes in a year, and their parents are willing to spend it on something that will only last a few hours. Maybe if these girls weren't so spoiled, they would realize that money doesn't grow on trees and they're going to have to work to make their own money someday.
