Curved Text

This tutorial will show you how to create curved text using the pen tool in Illustrator.

Step 1

Click on the pen tool or press P on your keyboard. Click on a spot anywhere you want (this will be the starting point of the curve you're drawing) and drag it out a bit.

Step 2

Click on a point off of the line you just made and drag it out. Keep doing this until you have a curved line.

Step 3

Click on the type tool and hold it down. Drag it to the side and you should see more options. Click on the Type on a Path tool.

Step 4

Click on the beginning of the line you made and type out your text.

Change the colors and add a stroke if you want, and you should get something like this:
