Making Brushes
This tutorial will show you how to make brushes that you can use on PS or give out on your site.
Step 1
Make your brush by pixeling it out or using shapes, pictures, scans, etc. I made a brush by layering the default heart brush a few times. Only use black, white, and shades of grey. Anything that is white will be transparent. Crop to get rid of extra space.

Step 2
Go to Edit > Define Brush Preset. Type in a name for your brush.

Click OK and your brush should appear in the brush list.
Step 3
Now you can save your brushes by making a new brush set. Click on the brush tool
and click on the small arrow in the list of brushes. Click on Preset Manager.

Step 4
Delete all of the brushes except for yours. Click on your brush and Save Set. Name the set whatever you want. I called mine Heart Brushes. Then next time you open PS, your brush set should show up along with the default brushes.
Offering Brushes
If you want to offer brushes on your site, go to your My Computer folder. Go to C: > Program Files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop > Presets > Brushes. Look in your brushes folder for your brush set. Right click in a blank space and click New > Compressed Folder. Name it brushes.zip or something similar. Then drag your brush set into the .zip folder. Upload the folder to your site and use this code to link to it.
