Name Writers
This tutorial will show you how to make a graphic that looks like a crayon writing your name in Animation Shop. You can use whatever pixel you want - it doesn't have to be a crayon.
Step 1
Make a new transparent image in Animation Shop and add your name in the bottom left. Make sure the antialias box is unchecked. Handwriting or script fonts look best.

Step 2
Click the duplicate button
to duplicate the frame. Keep duplicating until you have about 30 frames for a short name, or 60 frames for a long name. My name is 9 letters long and I ended up using 72 frames.
Step 3
Open your crayon pixel. (If you want to use mine, click here and save). Press Ctrl+C to copy it. Go back to your animation with the name in it and select the first frame. Press Ctrl+E and position the crayon near the beginning of the first letter.

Step 4
Select the second frame, and press Ctrl+E again. This time position the crayon a little farther down on the first letter. Keep doing this until you're done with all of the letters.

Step 5
Now you'll need to get rid of all the extra letters. When you write your name, for example Christine, the hristine doesn't show up while you're writing the C. So get rid of these by clicking the paint bucket, checking the box that says "to canvas color" and making the unneeded letters transparent. Don't make anything transparent that the crayon already "wrote".

Step 6
Delete any extra frames, and crop around your animation so there's not a lot of extra space around it. On the last frame, position the crayon at the end of the word. Select the last frame and press Alt+Enter, and make the frame duration about 200. Here's what mine looks like:
